2013 Oplan Kaluluwa committee formed

BAGUIO CITY -  This city will be expecting influx of visitors this coming November in observance of All Souls Day and All Saints Day, thus acting city mayor Daniel Fariñas issued Administrative Order No. 136 creating the executive committee for Oplan Kaluluwa 2013.

Mayor Mauricio Domogan will chair the said committee and City Administrator Atty. Carlos Canilao as the action officer.  The members are City Director Jesus Cambay, Jr., Chief P Supt. James Allan Logan, City Treasurer Alicia Onoza, City Engineer Leo Bernardez, OIC City Building Officer Arch. Johnny Degay, Health Services Officer Dr.  Florence Reyes, City Environment and Parks Management Officer Cordelia Lacsamana, License Officer Cristio Lagyop, Supervising Administrative Officer Ramon Dacawi, and all the punong barangays of Irisan, Lower Lourdes Subdivision, Lourdes Proper Subdivision, Lourdes Subdivision Extension, Lower Rock Quarry, City Camp Proper, City Camp Central, Cresencia Village, San Luis Village, San Roque Village and Quezon Hill Proper.

    It is the function of the said committee to prepare policies, guidelines and measures to ensure the success of the project, oversee the proper implementation of activities under the Oplan Kaluluwa 2013, and to seek ways and means by which all the activities are properly supported.

“Oplan Kaluluwa is an institutionalized annual activity led by the city government with the help of the Baguio City Police Office, People’s Organizations and Non-Government Organizations, to put order and regulate the activities in the observance of All Souls Day and All Saints Day in the city,” said Fariñas. *Jho Arranz
