Talleoreiterated this back-to-basics training thrust of the  PNP Chief Raul Bacalzo. “We will train and re-train our personnel to do his basic job with competence. At the same time, we will intensify training on basic capabilities like investigation, proper first-responder actions and procedures, crime scene preservation and management, case build-up, proper use of firearms, arrest and handcuffing techniques, and the like.”

On the same day will be the opening of the municipal police stations unit training.

Another activity  called the Special Counter-insurgency Operations Unit Training (SCOUT) for new  PNP recruits  which will start  March 15.
